Holiday fun! Glad its over!

We have been rather busy the month of December.Jon just came back from Iraq. He was in Utah for some visiting and wanted to go to Wendover. So we loaded up the truck and took the hour or so drive to the western side of Utah. The weather hasn't been all that nice so I am happy we made it there and back in one piece. Needless to say, we all drove out of Wendover with lighter wallets but the time was fun!
The Graham kids decorated one of the Christmas trees we have in our house. Even though the ornaments were a little grouped and not so evenly spread, they did a great job. It took everything in my power to not "fix" it after they were done. Good job Lily and Raphi! (seudo names of course) Yesterday we decided to go up Parley's Canyon and hit Gargoza Park for some sledding. I invited some friends from work (Patsy and Ray). We got all bundled up and picked up baby Jack (we call him that because there is another little boy in our lives that has the same name) and hit the road. After 45 minutes or so of driving, we arrived. Baby Jack was so cute when we put the goggles on him.
The hills were pretty fun. They didn't seem all that steep though. I wish we would have gone down a little faster. It was worth going since they towed you up the hill and there was no hiking involved. Wait in line for a tube, hook up to the line and be released at the top.
One more picture of Baby Jack in the goggles playing "snow fight" with his Auntie Melissa.
Lily and Raphi waiting in line. They are too cute!
I hope everyone had a great holiday season!

Until I blog again, ROCK ON!

Such a slacker at blogging lately!

So it's been a while since I blogged. Sorry! Not much to really report. We had our Thanksgiving! We actually ate at my moms house this year. On even years, we eat with my mother and step-dad. On odd years, we cook dinner at our house and Melissa's family joins us. Dinner was amazing as always and it was nice to visit with my nephews.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we had our own dinner. Becky B was in California visiting her brother (who just got home from Iraq) for Thanksgiving so when she got home we had our own dinner with her and her kids! It was good food once again!

Last weekend we took a little road trip to Boise. Melissa's grandfather lives there as does one of my nieces. We usually go at least once a year to visit them all.
Here is a picture of the sunset as we were driving up there. It was beautiful. The picture below does it no justice.Me and my mom on the drive upMy mom and niece Courtney. They look so much alike it is scary! Melissa, Courtney and meCourtney's sister Haley!
Before we came home, we had to get Melissa's grandfather a new TV so he will be able to watch PBS in February. Lucky him, with the new digital stuff, he gets like 4 different PBS channels. He is in heaven I am sure!Melissa, grandpa and M's mom Pat
